When testing is not necessary
Visible ceiling mold with an obvious moisture source (a bath fan, a roof leak, an AC drain) does not need a lab test to justify removal. The fix is the same.
Florida's separation rule
Under Chapter 468, Part XVI of the Florida Statutes, mold assessors and mold remediators are licensed separately. A person or company that assesses a property may not remediate it on the same project, and the reverse. This protects you from a company that tests and then profits from the result.
